The mighty Celtic Connections Festival previously commissioned Duncan’s exclusive concert at the iconic Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. You are perhaps aware that this concert was recorded and released as Duncan’s Live at Celtic Connections album.
In the run up to Celtic Connections 2020, Duncan will release previously unseen film footage from this concert, via his YouTube channel. A video clip to accompany each track from the album will released every day, during the run up to the festival, starting Wednesday 8 January.

The MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards celebrate Scotland’s traditional music in all its forms. A wonderful celebration of Scotland’s music and culture, please do visit the Awards website (click here) and place your votes for 2019.
‘Kin and the Community‘ has been nominated within the ‘Community Project of the Year‘ category for 2019. Based on the model created by Duncan Chisholm during production of his original award winning ‘Kin‘ project, Duncan is now the Artistic Director for this Feis Rois project which gives young people the amazing opportunity to develop skills in ethnology, research, composition and film making.
The awards take place at the Aberdeen Music Hall on Saturday 7 December. Wishing all nominees the best of luck!! Place your votes now!!! and grab yourself a ticket to this wonderful evening celebrating Scotland’s traditional music.
