    Duncan Chisholm takes to the Eastgate stage in the company of folk royalty multi-instrumentalists Jarlath Henderson, Hamish Napier and Innes Watson.

    The band play music from Duncan’s latest album, Sandwood, which contributed to him winning Composer of the Year and Album of the Year at the 2018 Scots Trad Music Awards. Comprising musical melodies awash with dazzling colours, textures and rhythms, these tunes are inspired by the Sutherland bay that brims with beauty and legend.

    This internationally renowned event has a unique setting in the Scottish Hebridean island of Lewis. A wide programme of events spread across the town of Stornoway over the festival weekend includes Duncan Chisholm performing at An Lanntair on the evening of Friday 19 July.
